Rocky Road Ice Cream: A Sweet Escape Inspired by Average April

If there’s one thing April knows, it’s that ice cream can turn an average day into something magical. In my short story Average April, Mystic Water’s local ice cream shop isn’t just a place for sweet treats—it’s a haven where ordinary moments transform into something extraordinary. And April’s go-to comfort? Rocky Road, of course!

There’s something about the rich chocolate, gooey marshmallows, and crunchy almonds that feels like a hug in dessert form. It’s no wonder April finds herself there whenever she needs a little extra comfort. Who wouldn’t?

Why not bring a bit of Mystic Water magic to your kitchen with a homemade batch of Rocky Road ice cream? It’s the perfect way to indulge, dream, and escape into a story full of wonder.

Grab a scoop, cozy up, and let Average April, whisk you away to a world where the sweetest surprises are always just around the corner.
